Empowering Women in Business
EWB is a student-led club at Bergen County Academies dedicated to equipping young women across the county with the resources, network, and confidence to be ready to become a leader in their future career
Who We Are
Empowering Women in Business (EWB) is a student-led organization at Bergen County Academies in Hackensack, NJ, and we're committed to closing the gender gap in business and entrepreneurship. We create a community where young women can explore all types of career pathways and opportunities.
Through workshops, speaker events, competitions, and community outreach, EWB empowers the next generation of female leaders. Whether you're interested in finance, marketing, hospitality, or starting your own business, there's a place for you here at EWB!
We meet at 7:30 AM in Upper Cafeteria or Room 180, you'll find our club leaders waiting outside the gym to pick up members on Tuesday mornings
We encourage ambitious students, regardless of academy or grade, to come join us and explore careers and opportunities in their fields of interest.
To get updates on meeting times and locations, or to see what events we'll host at BCA in the future, sign up for EWB emails.
Our annual Empowering Women in Business Conference is the best opportunity to connect with a variety of successful leaders, and we open up the conference to highschoolers across the county.
We'll be posting more info on the 2026 conference in the conference tab very soon, and for students at BCTHS, ATHS, or DE, be on the lookout for future emails and cross-school collaborations.
Connect with us through our contacts page or inquiry form and we can discuss ways to share your story. Whether it is as a conference speaker or podcast guest, we'll make sure your voice is heard.
